Ingredients
- 4fresh apples diced
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/4 cups gluten-free flour
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 cup nuts
Directions
- Place diced apples in a bowl
- Add sugar, oil, vanilla, soda, salt, and eggs.
- Mix thoroughly
- Sift dry ingredients together, add to the wet mixture
- Pour into greased 9×13 baking dish or pan
- Bake at 350° for 60 minutes (cake will shrink from sides of the pan)
Butter cream frosting
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup butter
- 4 ounces cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Beat well and frost when cake is cool.
