Ingredients:
- 1 cup yellow cornmeal
- 1 cup corn flour (masa harina)
- 1/4 sip cugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 eggs beaten
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 2 Tablespoons shortening, melted
Directions:
Sift dry ingredients together in mixing bowl. Stir in the beaten eggs, buttermilk and melted shortening,
Pour into greased muffin cups. Bake in preheated 400° oven for about 25 minutes.
