  • 5 1/2 cups coconut flakes
  • 1 can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet baking chocolate chips


  • Heat oven to 350°
  • Line cookie sheet with aluminum foil generously grease foil with shortening
  • Combine coconut flakes with Egle Brand milk, vanilla and chocolate chips
  • Mix well
  • Drop by round teaspoonsful onto prepared cookie sheets
  • Bake 9-11 minutes until set.
  • Immediately remove to wire rack
  • Store loosely covered at room temperature
  • Makes about 2 1/2 dozen cookies
