  • 2 pounds stew meat
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 1 stalk celery, chopped
  • 6 carrots, sliced
  • potatoes
  • 1 14 oz can diced tomatoes, drained
  • 1 6 oz can tomato paste
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 Tablespoon sugar
  • 1 Tablespoon tapioca


  • Place all ingredients in an oven save dish.  Cover with foil.  Bake in a 250° oven for 4 hours.
  • Or cook in a slow cooker for 8 hours on high.
